Honens in the Classroom

Honens in the Classroom gives young people a chance to experience classical music from some of the world's most talented and exciting young concert artists. Laureates of Honens International Piano Competition return to Calgary to pass on their love of music to future generations by offering a new perspective on learnng core curriculum in the classroom. Each classroom project is developed between the pianist and the teacher. Each session includes a full-school performance assembly, and question and answer period. There is no charge to schools or students for this program.
