February 17th, 18th, 24th 2009.
10:15-11:15am
The magic and mystery of the world around us has inspired composers to make music since well before recorded history. But just what is it they’re trying to tell us? Sometimes all it takes for a listener to tap into the composer’s inspiration for a piece of music is a guided tour! Join conductor Rosemary Thompson and the CPO for a musical dissection! Explore the various layers and textures of the orchestras sound in this interactive concert expedition. Let us demystify classical music so your students can hear more of the magic!
