Impressionism: A Resource Guide

Calgary’s Honens International Piano Competition is one of the world’s most prestigious events of its kind and Canada’s leading presenter of music for piano. With the support of The Calgary Foundation, Honens unveils an extensive educational resource guide focusing on the impressionist era of music, art and poetry.

Impressionism: A Resource Guide was created for use by classroom teachers, music specialists, resource librarians, private music teachers, home school students and parents.

The guide supports the Fine Arts curriculum from kindergarten to grade 12 and provides teachers with ideas to build student appreciation for arts and humanities. Resources include a guidebook, CD and suggested student activities.
